Projects start with a few essential decisions—footprint, height, roof type, and generator settings. Dialing those in up front keeps the Build Generator from producing junk geometry.
Quick start workflow
- Run the Build Generator. Feed it rough dimensions to get a full framing set in seconds.
- Use the Opening Framer. Drop in doors, windows, and garage openings so the model reflects your actual schedule.
- Finish with the c/c tape measure. Lay out any custom studs, rafters, or hardware freehand when the generator doesn’t cover a detail.
Finalize the project
- Render visuals. Use AI Render or capture finished-view screenshots so you have client-ready imagery.
- Dial in pricing. Add supplier prices to the material database so the auto cut lists immediately output buy lists you trust.
- Export documentation. Generate project plans, PDF pages, or print single sheets if you’re building for yourself.
- Annotate with markers. Use measurement and marker tools to leave notes, reminders, or personal build instructions directly on the model.
Save the model
Download the project as a .strek file before experimenting to preserve every detail, including cut lists and pricing. Export a .glb (Production plan required) only when you need to render or review the geometry in other viewers.
