Recommended test
Record a fresh small generation and learn to stop on an exact structural stage.
- Enable Timeline recording in Build Generator before creating a small building.
- Open the timeline, press Play, and watch the named stages advance.
- Pause, step backward and forward, then drag the scrub control to a chosen wall or roof stage.
- Change playback speed and confirm the final step restores the full model.
Record before generating
The timeline is assembled while Build Generator creates supported objects. Turn recording on before generation; it cannot infer a complete construction sequence from arbitrary geometry afterward.
Navigate the sequence
The player provides start, step back, play/pause, step forward and end behavior plus a scrub control. Each position identifies the active step, with the final position representing the full model. Speed control changes playback pacing without changing the recorded order.
Use it for explanation
Pause on a meaningful stage to inspect how assemblies accumulate. A Project Planner page can capture timeline state together with camera, visibility and display choices, making it possible to build a staged plan set or explanation.
Understand the boundary
Timeline order describes Autostrek’s generated sequence; it is not a site schedule, safety plan or trade coordination model. Directly added objects may not participate like generated members. Before presenting a sequence, check that each step shows the intended groups and that the full-model state is restored at the end.
