Recommended test
Export a short internal booklet and inspect every page before attempting a branded client issue.
- Prepare two simple Planner pages and enter a clear project title.
- Choose a cover from an upload, stored project render or the first page.
- Include the BOM or cutlist only if its quantities have already been reviewed.
- Export the PDF and inspect cover, margins, line weight, labels and final page order at 100% zoom.
Set the booklet scope
Enter the project title and choose which Planner pages belong in the issue. Optional BOM and cutlist sections should be included only after their model scope and supplier assumptions are checked.
Choose a cover
Use an uploaded or pasted image, a stored project render, or the first page as the cover source. Select an image whose crop remains readable at the target orientation. AI-generated imagery should be identified appropriately because it may not preserve exact construction detail.
Limits and branding
Standard export supports 10 pages. Premium branding supports 100 pages and costs 50 credits. The count includes the cover, every Planner page and substep, and one entry per selected BOM or cut-list appendix. Long appendix tables can continue onto additional physical sheets.
The square-cornered export window shows the count and disables Generate PDF when it exceeds the selected limit. Remove pages or selected appendices, or enable premium branding for a larger booklet. No capture or upload starts while the count is over the limit.
Text and export progress
Notes, parts tables, callout leaders and measurement labels now use selectable vector text and lines. They stay sharp when zoomed or printed; model views remain images. Export existing pages again to obtain the clearer text. Text already embedded in imported images remains raster content.
Each drawing has up to one minute of active-tab time to become ready. Switching to a background tab pauses that timeout. If activation fails, the error identifies the page and what could not be restored. Pages whose model-part selection needs review must be checked before export.
Partial assembly illustrations omit the extra ground line. Complete elevations and quad view keep it; measurement lines remain in both.
Inspect the output
Open the actual PDF, not only the editor preview. Check page order, safe margins, measurements, callouts, hidden objects, raster sharpness and list pagination. Keep the .strek project as the editable source and store issued PDFs with a date or revision.
