Recommended test
Create three primitives at the same depth and compare their anchors, bounds and measured size.
- Create a rectangle with known width, height and depth.
- Create a circle and an isosceles right triangle beside it using the same extrusion depth.
- Create a simple closed path with four non-crossing points.
- Measure each result and confirm its orientation before copying or combining it with other work.
Use direct primitives
Rectangle is the most predictable choice for boards, blocking and test geometry. Circle creates a round profile. Triangle creates an isosceles right-triangle profile. Path accepts a custom sequence of points and is appropriate when no built-in primitive describes the outline.
Enter the defining dimensions
Primitive controls expose width, height and depth according to the active orientation. Path dimensions derive from the drawn point set and its extrusion. Read the preview labels rather than assuming screen width maps to model X in every camera view.
In Grid mode, Circle duplicator can repeat the selected or most recently drawn circle at the same radius. Verify its center snap before using the copies as a pattern.
Keep paths valid
A solid path must form a usable closed boundary. Avoid self-intersections, duplicate points and nearly zero-length segments. Start with four or five points; add complexity only after the simple profile extrudes correctly.
Verify orientation and anchor
Inspect from an isometric view and one aligned orthographic view. The object’s origin or anchor affects later Move and placement operations. If a primitive will become a repeated member, create and measure one correct source before making copies.
