Recommended test
Export a small known model and compare it with the Autostrek source in a GLB-capable viewer.
- Save the editable project as .strek first.
- Use the save/export menu and choose GLB export if your plan makes it available.
- Open the downloaded .glb in a compatible viewer and inspect orientation, visible objects and materials.
- Compare one known overall dimension or bounding size before delivering the file.
When to use GLB
GLB is a compact 3D interchange format suited to compatible viewers, presentation tools and downstream workflows. Use it when the recipient needs the model rather than the complete Autostrek editing state.
Availability
The current Autostrek interface identifies GLB export as a Production yearly-plan feature. Plan names and entitlements can change, so rely on the availability shown in your account and export menu. A disabled or explanatory state is not a model error.
Prepare the scene
Before exporting, unhide anything the recipient should receive and hide temporary helpers that should not be present. Review texture, opacity and object groups. Save a .strek master immediately before export so there is an editable recovery point.
Validate outside Autostrek
An export is not complete until it opens in the target viewer. Check up direction, framing, materials and whether all intended elements are visible. GLB does not replace the Knowledge Base guidance about drawings, quantities or structured project metadata; produce Planner PDFs and lists separately when they are part of the handoff.
