Choose a starter project

Use a garage, cabin, house or sauna baseline to learn faster, then refine it in Build Generator.

Available starting points

The startup screen offers Build from scratch, Open workspace and four wired examples: Double Garage, Cabin/Shed, House and Sauna. They are structural baselines rather than decorative templates.

The garage uses an uninsulated gable/truss setup suited to seeing a foundation-wall style floor. The cabin uses an insulated gable/ridge-beam arrangement. The house demonstrates a larger insulated A-frame attic truss configuration. The sauna demonstrates a compact uninsulated skillion roof.

Pick by structure

Choose the preset whose floor, wall insulation and roof system are closest to the intended project—not simply the closest visual shape. Changing dimensions is easy in Build Generator; changing the structural idea later can affect openings, dormers and quantities.

Review inherited settings

Open Build Generator before relying on the result. Confirm width, length, wall height, floor type, insulation, roof type, framing system and roof angle. Presets use real configured values, so they are useful teaching material, but they do not calculate engineering suitability.

Start from scratch when needed

Use an empty workspace for individual Custom Solids or when no starter resembles the intended structure. For a building, even a rough matching preset can make the first inspection quicker because it demonstrates the object hierarchy and related output tools immediately.
