Classify one current project output as geometry, quantity, visual or experimental and verify it with the matching check.

- Repeat the feature's recommended test in a disposable project.
- Record any project-specific assumption or unresolved limit before continuing.
Geometry is not engineering
Build Generator, Truss Builder, Opening Framer and Custom Solid create useful geometry. They do not calculate structural capacity, regulatory compliance, fire performance, drainage design or fabrication tolerances. Use qualified project checks for those decisions.
Visual detail is not quantity
Textures, contrast lines, AI renders, detailed roof coverings and scale people improve communication. Their appearance does not necessarily create a billable product or exact construction detail. Trace quantities through cutlist/BOM metadata and verify products separately.
Experimental tools
Plane Tool and Solar Shade are explicitly testing/experimental features. Grid Pattern and building-extension dormer workflows also deserve isolated validation. Current dormers require gable hosts and conventional rafter support for roof openings; detailed roof tiles remain visually different from a fully cut covering around dormers.
Hip roof V1 scope
The Hip roof generator supports rectangular and square footprints within the existing building limits, with one shared pitch, a uniform overhang and level eaves. Framing, optional roof layers, fascia, flashing, gutters, downpipes, four-wall siding and eight equal-length corner boards are included. Roof appearance, thickness, vertical offset, downpipe adjustments and Simple Panel wall controls work live after generation.
Compound footprints, different pitches on individual faces, dormers on Hip roofs and Hip-specific Create assembly guide instructions are outside V1. Detailed Hip covering models flat-tile courses; Wave and Standing seam live styles change their surface pattern, not the physical tile profile. Normal selection, groups, timeline, cutlist and project saving remain available.
Hip roof V1 was released on 13 September 2026. Existing Hip geometry predating live controls requires regeneration in the updated build. Save a project copy before replacing a manually edited building.
Plan-dependent outputs
GLB export, PDF limits, premium branding, suppliers and AI credits can depend on the active plan. The live account and tool dialogs are authoritative. Save a project checkpoint, run the article’s green test and inspect the actual output before making it part of a customer commitment.
