Recommended test
Place one figure beside a known-height wall and compare the visual scale from several camera directions.
- Open Scale Person and choose a test figure and known height.
- Place the figure on the same ground reference as a wall or doorway.
- Orbit around it and compare Always face camera on and off.
- Measure the represented height and decide whether the figure belongs in final views.
Choose a figure and height
Scale Person adds a cardboard-style human reference with an editable height and displayed width information. Enter a deliberate height rather than treating the default as a universal person.
Place on the correct level
Position the figure on the same floor or ground plane as the architecture being judged. A floating or sunken figure gives a misleading impression even when its own height is correct.
Face-camera behavior
Always face camera keeps a billboard-style figure readable as the view orbits. Disable it when its fixed orientation matters to the scene. Inspect front, side and isometric views so the representation does not hide an opening or structural detail.
Use as context, not measurement
The figure is a communication aid. Use Tape Measure and model information for dimensions. Hide or remove scale people from cut-focused technical views, and include them in presentations only when they improve understanding of clearance or proportion.
